Reimagining Escapism
This project was undertaken as part of a user experience course led by Jason Severs (frog). In this project, I chose to explore the theme of escape, peering through the murky lens of drug use, specifically MDMA. In the future I chose to depict is one similar to the current day: in a world of increasing complexity and technology-mediated disconnection, people have begun to seek out experiences that build empathy and remedy the growing lack of community. MDMA has found a new form and is paired with brain to brain technology, giving new meaning to the term "alone, together".
