The 2020 Project

The 2020 Project is a multi-part documentary series exploring how youth are using their platform to tackle and reshape the biggest issues facing the world today. 


The Approach



Each episode focuses on a specific issue that demands change – from climate and politics, to gender equality and representation. Each story is told through a human lens: an immersive / intimate look at the lives of the young people using their voices to fight for change.

Talent selection was predicated on the lived experience and the timeliness of the issue, all laddering up to global cultural tentpoles such as International Women’s day, the primary elections, Black History Month, Earth Day, and more. The goal was to contribute to  sustained change and continued conversation, fostering authentic civic and community engagement beyond each episode.
